Islamic Finance Education
Rebuilding the relationship between Muslims and money. Podcast, Telegram community, and an upcoming live forum — "Путь без риба."
Why this exists
Every Muslim must be strong — both physically and mentally. Educated. Wealthy. Rich. Not for the sake of wealth itself, but so that he can be strong in his deen and help the people around him. It is easier to do good deeds when you are rich and educated. The path without riba is not about poverty. It is about building a life where your money serves your values — and through that, serves your community.
Riba is everywhere
Most Muslims living in Kazakhstan — and across the post-Soviet world — have grown up with no alternative to the conventional banking system. Mortgages with interest. Credit cards that charge riba. Loans that look halal but aren't. The system was built without us in mind.
The result is that many practicing Muslims are either financially paralyzed, or quietly compromising. Neither is a solution. We need real financial literacy, grounded in Islamic principles, delivered in the language of people who actually live here — in Kazakh, in Russian, in the streets of Almaty and Shymkent.

What we cover
Journal
We recorded with a young couple who built their first apartment using a halal ijarah structure through Al Hilal Bank. Three years of patience, of saying no to the conventional mortgage that everyone around them was taking. The apartment is smaller. They are freer. That is the point.
For Islamic banks & partners
If your institution offers genuine halal financial products — banking, takaful, investment, or real estate — this community is your audience. These are educated, practicing Muslims who are actively looking for alternatives.
Sponsorship of the podcast or forum means direct access to a motivated, trust-based audience. We do not run ads. We tell stories. If your product is genuinely halal and serves Muslims, we want to tell yours.
